1MILLION Dance Studio enters the 2026 Season having rebuilt their roster almost entirely from scratch. 21 of 27 spots are new additions. This is not a team leaning on brand name. This is a team that signed up to compete.

A New Intention

1MILLION enters the 2026 Season with something they have not had before in the IDL: a roster built specifically to compete. In 2025, the Pro-Team drew from dancers who thrived in 1MILLION's world-class studio environment. Talented dancers. Elite dancers. But not a team assembled with one singular goal in mind.

The 2026 Season Roster is different. 1MILLION rebuilt around competition. 21 of 27 spots go to new additions. The message is clear: The era of competing for a championship starts now.

Lia Kim Steps Up

If there is one name that changes what 1MILLION's IDL chapter means, it is Lia Kim.

The co-founder of 1MILLION Dance Studio is on the 2026 Season Roster. For fans of dance, that sentence needs a moment to land.

Lia Kim choreographed TWICE's "TT" and Sunmi's "Gashina" — two records that define an era of K-pop. She competed on Street Woman Fighter 2. She has over 1 million Instagram followers and became the first choreographer to receive Korea's Popular Culture and Arts Award.

She is not coming to the IDL as a figurehead. She is coming as a competitor.

For 1MILLION, it is a statement. For the rest of the IDL, shots fired.

IDL 2026 Season Ones to Watch

Jonah Aki is one of the most experienced dancers on this roster and now serves as co-leader of 1MILLION. With more than two decades in competitive choreography, he built his foundation as part of Kaba Modern, one of Southern California's most influential dance organizations. He brings more than experience to this team. He brings perspective.

Jane Kim did not come through the usual channels. She dances with Viva, a studio four hours from Seoul, and was spotted by 1MILLION's team managers Timon and Marc, who saw something worth building around. She brought her own dancers with her. She commutes four hours each way. That kind of commitment does not go unnoticed on a team built to win.

Nara Lee was impossible to miss at the 2025 IDL Launch Event. She brought more energy than almost anyone on the floor, and she is only getting started. If 1MILLION has a breakout star this season, Nara Lee is the name to watch.

Nakyung An has choreographed and movement directed for BLACKPINK and SUNMI. Lia Kim has collaborated with her in the classroom — which, from the studio's co-founder, says everything. She joined 1MILLION in March 2024 and has been building steadily since. The spotlight is catching up.
